Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker's quest to power up with love in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams...literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him.
Before the film: Retro Games & Workshops from 5.30pm
Before the screening, come along to drop-in workshops facilitated by Toad Lickers Collective and Worm Factory.
Get involved and create your own stop motion shorts or chiptune songs using video game sounds. If you'd rather just hang out, we'll also have a selection of retro games running, and the Towner Café will be open for drinks.
