Printmakers Council Inspired By
Emma Mason Gallery
7 October to 4 November, Thursdays to Saturdays, 10.00am to 4.00pm
Emma Mason Gallery in Eastbourne is hosting The Printmakers Council (PmC) for an exhibition of work by current members inspired by past members of the council, many of whom are represented by Emma Mason. They hold work by several of the founding members of the Printmakers Council, including Peter Green, Alistair Grant, Helena Markson and Bernard Cheese.
“Inspired By” will celebrate the origins of the Printmakers Council, and demonstrate how printmaking techniques and ways of approaching the media has moved on in the past half-century. The exhibition will show how contemporary artists use and build on – or react against – images, subject matter, and technique that has gone before.
There will be a wide range of original prints and all work will be for sale.
