Towner fairs are back, this time celebrating the art of contemporary jewellery-making across a variety of styles and materials.

Emma Stibbon is joined by those at the forefront of climate action, including politician, author and end-of-life doula Caroline Lucas.   

Blue Monkey Network present a new and improved event where 4 artist members give short 10 minute talks about their practice. 

Join artist Sarah Becvar for a botanical painting workshop with a difference. Surrounded by seasonal flowers and old botanical guidebooks, Sarah will lead you through this peaceful workshop introducing watercolour painting as a mindfulness activity.

This six–week course offers an introduction to modern British art by exploring a selection of predominantly British artists and artistic movements, and their response to the dramatic societal changes which occurred during the first half of the 20th- century. Themes and artists have been included to tie in with selected works from the extensive Towner Collection.

New Blue Monkey Network member Carrie Stanley will give a talk on her processes; connection to colours and textures, dismissal of conventional boundaries and edges, the importance of drawing to life sized scale and in the moment, and the importance of being true to self.
