Blue Monkey Network: In the footsteps of Babs
Tickets £5.00/ Free for BMN Members. Available on the door.
Thursday 17 August
Join Blue Monkey Network member and artist Nikki Davidson-Bowman for a talk inspired by Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life and themes from the symposium (M)otherhood at Tate St Ives which hosted the exhibition before it came to Towner Eastbourne.
Nikki will take us on a subjective meander through holes, threads, life & art as a mother, considering how motherhood may or may not impact practice.
The talk and discussion will take place in Studio 3 on the middle floor (near the toilets). Please allow time to check in with Kath before the event starts.
Entry to Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life
Although seeing Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life is not an expected prerequisite to join us at this event, there is an opportunity for all attendees to see the exhibition before the talk.
BMN Members will be granted access to the exhibition as part of their membership.
All other event attendees will be granted access to the exhibition on purchase of a ticket to the talk (£5.00).
