Lunchtime Response: Drawing from Gerard Byrne
Thursday 5 December, 1.30pm,
Gallery 1, Free, drop-in
Join us and draw from Gerald Byrne’s moving image film Jielemeguvvie guvvie sjisjnjeli - Film inside an image that documents the 360-degree panoramic natural history diorama at Biologiska Museet in Stockholm, Sweden.
Towner staff member Brian Cheeswright will lead you on a drawing session in the gallery where you’ll have the opportunity to sketch the various taxidermied animals captured in Byrne’s film.
In the Ravilious room and library outside the gallery space you’ll have the opportunity to talk through your drawings and experience.
No drawing skills required – everyone who wishes to can participate just as they are.
Meet outside Gallery 1
