Introducing Lunchtime Responses: a new series of events where members of the Towner team invite you to a conversation in the gallery.
You’ll hear new perspectives, unique takes and personal stories about the varied works in the Towner Collection.
Join Towner staff member Terry Henson for a 20-minute discussion about one of Towner’s most popular artworks: Grayson Perry’s Map of Nowhere, 2008. The piece is currently on display as part of The Living Collection.
Expect insights into Perry’s inspiration for the work – medieval maps – and the contemporary themes he explores.
During the discussion you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your own thoughts.
This is a drop-in, free event for all.
Meet inside Gallery 1 on the first floor.
