Quiet Time sessions are available during the Turner Prize exhibition at Towner every other Thursday and on one weekend day per month.
During these sessions, lower lighting will be turned up, while sounds and sensory stimulants are kept to a minimum.
Sensory bags are available to borrow from the Welcome Space on the ground floor, free of charge. Please return these at the end of your visit.
An access guide, designed by artist Anna Farley will also be available to support your visit.
These sessions are mainly for – but not limited to – children, young people and adults with autism; people with social, emotional, or mental health needs; adults living with dementia; and any other visitors with sensory needs or who may benefit from a calmer experience.
