We have developed a number of access resources to support your visit to Turner Prize 2023, and our team are on hand in each space to help with any individual access needs you may have during your visit. If you have any specific access requirements that you need to arrange in advance, please contact dutymanagers@townereastbourne.org.uk

Sensory Bags
Sensory Bags containing aids for visitors such as ear defenders, fidget toys, mini-magnifiers, colour paddles and Sunflower Lanyards will be available in the Turner Prize Welcome Space. Sensory Bags can be used for the duration of your visit.
Visual Guide
Anna Farley, Associate Artist with Project Art Works, has worked with us to create a visual guide to Turner Prize 2023.
Anna makes work exploring her autism and co-occurring conditions, as well as policies and attitudes in the UK towards disabilities, benefits and inclusion.
This guide includes sensory maps and access information, offering new ways for all visitors to access the Turner Prize exhibitions. It presents visual rather than text-led information.
Audio Guide
VocalEyes, a charity dedicated to bringing art and culture to life for blind and visually impaired people, has developed audio descriptions of each space.

We have provided visitor seating in spaces where possible, and we also have stools available on request that you can carry with you. Staff will be happy to bring stools to you if needed.
Captions
The four artist films on show in the Turner Prize Welcome Space are captioned. Our introductory overview to the Turner Prize by curator Noelle Collins, available to view from early October, will also be captioned.
BSL Interpretation
BSL interpretation will be offered at each of our four in-person artist events.
Quiet Time & Quiet Space
If a quiet space is needed during your visit, please speak to a team member and we’ll be happy to facilitate.
We are offering bookable Quiet Time sessions for the Turner Prize exhibition. During these periods, lower lighting will be turned up and sounds and sensory stimulants kept to a minimum.
