Artist opportunities

Towner works with communities and organisations to deliver an inclusive and accessible learning programme. Periodically we also offer workshops and projects for artists in the region. To hear about further artist opportunities at Towner, please sign up to our mailing list.

Towner Maker Fairs

Our popular makers’ fairs are returning for 2026 with even more opportunities for visitors to snap up products from talented local craftspeople and small businesses, plus the very best makers from further afield.

2026 Fair Programme:

Ceramics Fair - 14 to 15 March 2026 (submissions closed as of midday, 19 November)

Print Fair - 6 to 7 June 2026 (submissions will open in February 2026)

Christmas Fair - 6 to 8 November 2026 (submissions will open in June 2026)

Towner Ceramics Fair

Saturday 14 to Sunday 15 March 2026 | 10.00am to 4.00pm

Submissions for Towner Ceramics Fair 2026 are now closed. All applicants will receive an email by Tuesday 2 December with the status of their application.

Please note that a submission of interest does not guarantee a stall. To ensure that we are supporting a broad range of independent makers, there will be a selection process.

Please make sure you read our FAQs carefully. Should you have any other questions, please get in touch by emailing Towner towner@townereastbourne.org.uk

  • Where is the fair taking place?
The fair will take place indoors in our two beautiful, light, ground-floor studios. These are secure and will be locked and alarmed overnight.
  • When can I set up?
You will have the opportunity to set up Friday 13 March 10.00am to 6.00pm or Saturday 14 March: 8.30am to 9.45am. Pack down will commence Sunday 15 March from 4.00pm.
  • Pitch
We will provide a 5ft x 2ft trestle table, but please bring tablecloths and any additional decorations required. If you do not need a trestle table but instead have your own construction/display board, please include an image and dimensions.
  • Fee
The fee for the weekend is £140. Towner will take no commission on sales.
  • Payment
If you are selected, you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit in advance to secure your place. The remaining amount will be requested a week prior to the event.
