Alison will guide you around the artwork, give information about the exhibition and use her experience and perspective as an artist to make connections and suggestions.
This tour is delivered by Alison in BSL and interpreted into spoken English. It is open to BSL users and spoken English users alike.

About Alison France
Alison Claire France, a Deaf visual artist born in Australia to British parents, has a diverse upbringing across Australia, the UK, and South Africa. Based in East Sussex, her art encompasses large-scale emulsion paintings and sculptures exploring human forms and landscapes, advocating inclusivity. Addressing contemporary political landscapes, her work tackles social and environmental issues with dystopian elements, evoking intricate emotions through exploring pareidolia and displacement. She recently completed her MA in Fine Arts at the University of Brighton and works as a freelance artist and facilitator.
