Join us as part of Towner's Heritage Open Days for an opportunity to get hands-on and help with cataloguing the Eastbourne Theatres archive. The session will be led by Kelly Van Doorn, Heritage Collections Co-ordinator, Eastbourne Borough Council. There will also be a display from The Eastbourne Society on the various buildings of Devonshire Park, including the theatres.
The open studio will also include information stands from local historical organisations, where you can pick up information and chat to volunteers about their work and how you might be able to get involved.
Featuring Family Roots, Eastbourne Natural History & Archaeological Society, The Eastbourne Society and the Genealogy and Local Studies of ESCC library services.
