A chance to go behind the scenes to explore Towner’s Art Store and view works from the Towner Collection.
As part of Towner's Heritage Open Days, this is an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes to explore Towner’s Art Store, free of charge.
You will be introduced to a number of significant works from the Towner Collection, including the original bequest of 20 paintings gifted by Alerman John Chilsholm Towner. The tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
Heritage Open Days is an annual celebration of England's history and culture that allows visitors free access to heritage sites and community events that are either not usually open to the public, would normally charge an entrance fee, or that are putting on something special for the festival.
