Klara and the Sun

Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) plays Klara in Taika Waititi’s (Jojo Rabbit) adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro bestseller.

Meet Klara (Ortega) – your new best (artificial) friend! The solar-powered Klara wants nothing more than to find the perfect home. When Klara meets Josie (Mia Tharia), each senses a kindred spirit in the other. Josie has a fraught relationship with her mother (Oscar nominee Amy Adams – Arrival) and they’ve suffered great loss, but gradually Klara’s innocent, chaotic wonder and unwavering loyalty start to heal the family, bringing light to Josie’s complicated world.
