Love and Hope in the Abstract
Talk/ Tour, Event

Join staff member Alison Hayes in the Comrades in Art exhibition to discuss paintings by Ithell Colquhoun and John Tunnard.
We will explore thoughts about Colquhoun and Tunnard's visionary works and reflect on how they could have motivated both the viewers and artists themselves during the bleak war years.
Can we, too, find encouragement in these abstract works and garner strength and resilience for our present day challenges and troubles, both on a personal and societal level?
Taking inspiration from the Artists' International Association - join us to come together and picture a collective and collaborative future. All most definitely welcome!
This event is free to ticket holders. Buy a ticket to Comrades in Art here.
