Join Towner staff member Terry Henson presenting a short talk focusing on the felted and stitched textile Omulolo //5 (2019) by St Leonards artist Maggie Scott.
During the session, Terry will discuss the background to the work, while considering Maggie’s political motivation and how this is sometimes interpreted within her aesthetic. During the discussion you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your own thoughts. This is a drop-in event and is free with an exhibition ticket, which can be booked on the Sussex Modernism page.

About Terry Henson
About Terry Henson Terry works at Towner Eastbourne and is an Art Store Guide. She is the organiser and facilitator of the Open Ended Project (a project for people with memory loss and their carers). Her interests are diverse and wide ranging and include mid-20th century British and European art, contemporary and postcolonial art.
