This artwork by the self-titled Nibble Bibble Duck Toes (An arts collective of Turing School pupils) was made during workshops responding to the Turner Prize 2023 with artist Richard Phoenix
The self-titled Nibble Bibble Duck Toes are a collective of year nine students from the Turing School exploring creative thinking and making in the lead up to Turner Prize 2023 at Towner. They are supported by artist Richard Phoenix.
Since November 2022, the group have explored different types of art practice, including poetry, performance, dance, mark-making, textile, music and graphic design and investigated themes including hierarchy, access and conformity.
This installation was created onsite in response to Richard’s practice, Towner’s Collection and the students’ experience of the project sessions.
