For Towner’s July Friday Late, Poetry Café Eastbourne will be at Towner Eastbourne for an evening of poetry composed in response to the artworks presented in Sussex Modernism.
Poets from the Poetry Café Eastbourne community will perform their work live within the Sussex Modernism exhibition.
Each of the poetry sessions will last approximately ten minutes and will be the first time these works will be performed, each piece created specifically for this event. There will be some time for audience responses too.
We hope that you will join us for what promises to be an enjoyable and unique way to experience both the exhibition and the poetry.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can and include free entry to the exhibitions.

We have a budget available to make this event as accessible as possible – this can include further interpretation services or other access arrangements we can meet to enable you to participate.
