The screenings on Saturday 16 May and Thursday 21 May are programmed in collaboration with Eastbourne Film Society (EFS). The screening on Saturday 16 will be introduced by Mansel Stimpson, Chair of EFS.

Cecilia (Tecla Insolia) is a talented musician whose life changes forever when she meets her orphanage's new music instructor: Antonio Vivaldi (Michele Riondino). Under his mentorship, she gains courage to break free from the life she was destined for and pursue her passion.
Adapted from the novel Stabat Mater by Tiziano Scarpa, Primavera is based on the real life of Vivaldi, who was a Roman Catholic priest and taught at the Ospedale della Pietà for almost 30 years, and combines stunning visuals, a sweeping story and an unforgettable score.
