Carlobianchi (Sergio Romano) and Doriano (Pierpaolo Capovilla) are charismatic criminals with big personalities and a treasure trove of stories from their glory days. They survive on anecdotes and bar fare, and their bills are getting harder to pay. If only they could dig up the cash their old pal Genio (Andrea Pennacchi) buried before he left for Argentina…
When they meet sweet, hapless architecture student Giulio (Filippo Scotti), Carlobianchi and Doriano take him under their grizzled wings and embark on a road trip through the Venetian plains to revive his zest for life.
