The Findings: Archaeological Dig

A broken brick, a lump of earth, mud between your fingers. Could be something, could be nothing. Rubbish, treasure, now, then. A little deeper, brushed, cleaned, sorted. The Findings.
Join us for a series of archaeological digs happening across Langney and Shinewater. Come for an hour, or all four days.
Suitable for all ages, the digs are the first public moments of a public art project by Verity-Jane Keefe who has been commissioned by Towner Eastbourne to produce work across the area.
They will be led by archaeologist Jo Seaman with Verity, rain or shine. There will be cover from the rain, refreshments and access to public toilets nearby.
