Supported by the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) project, Towner has partnered with GROW Eastbourne to provide creative artist-led activities around nature, food and community connection for children and young people on Free School Meals.
Lead by artist Katie Spragg we'll explore GROW's outdoor spaces through fun workshops that include mark-making, sculpture, collaboration and discussion. We'll also explore shared food growing spaces and edible plants. The project will take place weekly across the summer holidays with an additional two visits to GROW's allotment site at Gorringe Road.
Lunches are provided during the sessions.
Read about our reflections on the project on our blog.
Towner Eastbourne has partnered with Devonshire Collective to provide a parallel offer in Seaside, Eastbourne. More information here.
These activities are supported and funded by the HAF Programme (East Sussex County Council).
