Join Towner staff member Terry Henson in discussion with Vivienne Roberts, curator and former archivist at The College of Psychic Studies, speaking about the work of the pioneering artist Madge Gill.
Terry and Vivienne will speak about the artwork by Madge Gill on display in Drawing the Unspeakable and consider the impact of Gill's work today.
During the discussion you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your own thoughts.

About Terry Henson
Terry works at Towner Eastbourne and is an Art Store Guide. She is the organiser and facilitator of the Open Ended Project (a project for people with memory loss and their carers). Her interests are diverse and wide ranging and include mid-20th century British and European art, contemporary and postcolonial art.
About Vivienne Roberts
Vivienne Roberts is a London-based art historian and curator specialising in the history of mediumistic art, with a focus on its women practitioners. She established madgegill.com in 2009 followed later by mediumisticart.com and is a member of the Visionary Women Research Group and the British Art Network.
