Lunchtime Response: Curatorial Reflections on Points of View
Talk/ Tour
Hollie Douglas, curator of Points of View, will present a piece of writing reflecting on her personal responses to the artworks, considering how they capture the turbulence and complexity of daily life.
Thursday 24 April, 1.30pm to 1.50pm
Free
Studio 2
Join Points of View curator Hollie Douglas as she explores the exhibition through the lens of ‘the everyday’ – a theme often found in visual art that can be defined as a focus on ordinary life, where on the surface nothing much happens.
Hollie will present a piece of writing reflecting on her personal responses to the artworks, considering how they capture the turbulence and complexity of daily life. She will share her thoughts on how these works can help make sense of the world around us and add a few of her own musings on modernity. All welcome - this is a drop-in, free event for all.
