Join Towner staff member Terry Henson talking about the 1928 work by Edward Burra titled Havana, currently on display in Drawing the Unspeakable.
Terry will speak about Burra's observation of nightlife and subcultures and the impact of his work today.
During the discussion you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss your own thoughts.

About Terry Henson
Terry works at Towner Eastbourne and is an Art Store Guide. She is the organiser and facilitator of the Open Ended Project (a project for people with memory loss and their carers). Her interests are diverse and wide ranging and include mid-20th century British and European art, contemporary and postcolonial art.
