Lunchtime Conversation: Responses to Jesse Darling’s work
Free, drop-in
Sunday 21 January 2024, 1.30pm
Join art history student and Towner staff member Elle Batehup in discussing the variety of ways that Towner Eastbourne visitors have responded to Jesse Darling’s artwork.
Many visitors have written on comment cards, or Elle has overheard responses while invigilating the galleries or visitors have written responses on social media.
In this session, Elle will chat about the variety of responses and how different responses help look at art in a different way.
You’ll have an opportunity to discuss your thoughts and ask any questions.
This is a drop-in, free event for all. Meet in Gallery 2 on the second floor.
This event is part of Lunchtime Responses: a series of events where we invite you to hear new perspectives, unique takes and personal stories about the varied works on display at the gallery.
